Start Menu Tips

Sizing - If the start menu is too large in size for your tastes, you can change that by right clicking your mouse on the taskbar, then left clicking on properties, Place a check mark in the "Show small icons in Start menu" box, then apply the changes. Mouse buttons too confusing? You can reach the taskbar properties by left clicking: Start, settings, and then taskbar.

Add or Deleting Icons - If you'd like to add your own program icons to the start menu simply drag & drop them on the start button. If you'd like more control over this process go to:  start, then settings, then taskbar. At the top of the window click "Start menu programs" then choose if you want add or remove* a program icon to the start menu. If you use the advanced button you can also rename existing programs! Remember this is an advanced tip, if you are not sure what your doing and you remove an icon from your start menu, you may have difficulty putting it back later!

*If you delete a program icon, you can restore it by using the restore option under recycle bin.
